Examples of patient enrolment

Please find below three examples of patient enrolment and follow up periods:

Examples

Example 1

For example 1, patient enrolment starts 1 January 2021 and ends 31 March 2021.  All consecutive eligible patients should be submitted without any exceptions. Each patient is followed up for 90 days. This means that if a patient is enrolled 1 January 2021, the 90 day follow up for this particular patient will be 1 April 2021. If the last enrolled patient is on 31 March 2021, the 90 day follow up will be 29 June 2021.

Example 2

For example 2, patient enrolment starts 1 March 2021 and ends 31 May 2021.  All consecutive eligible patients should be submitted without any exceptions. Each patient is followed up for 90 days. This means that if a patient is enrolled 1 March 2021, the 90 day follow up for this particular patient will be 1 June 2021. If the last enrolled patient is on 31 May 2021, the 90 day follow up will be 29 August 2021.

Example 3

For example 3, patient enrolment starts 1 October 2021 and ends 31 December 2021.  All consecutive eligible patients should be submitted without any exceptions. Each patient is followed up for 90 days. This means that if a patient is enrolled 1 October 2021, the 90 day follow up for this particular patient will be 30 December 2021. If the last enrolled patient is on 11 December 2022, the 90 day follow up will be 31 March 2022.
